Quality Education

Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for everyone.

It is of great importance to increase efforts to strengthen the role of education in the full realisation of human rights, peace, responsible local and global citizenship, gender equality, sustainable development and health. The content of such education should be appropriate and address both cognitive and non-cognitive aspects of learning. The knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that all people need to live successful lives, make informed decisions and take an active role, both locally and globally, in addressing and solving global challenges can be acquired through education for sustainable development and global citizenship education, which in turn includes education for peace and human rights, intercultural education and education for international understanding, and therefore an education model that responds to the commitments made in the SDGs must be developed.
